Exciting bantamweight’s Chico “The King” Camus (17-7) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Andrew Whitney (14-5) of Boca Ratan, Florida (American Top Team) will battle in this Saturday nights co-main event at the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen, MN. Driller Promotions has 14 bouts scheduled for No Mercy 6 with the headliner being a showdown between Midwest heavyweights Parnell Davis (8-3) and Maurice Greene (4-1). For those who cannot make the trip up north, you can watch live at www.flocombat.com
Camus is a highly skilled mixed martial artist that has entertained Minnesota fans with recent victories over Matt Brown, Czar Sklavos, and Darrick Minner, in his last three bouts. The UFC, WEC, and LFA veteran Camas believes that his 11 years of MMA experience and well rounded style will be too much for Whitney.
“I’m looking to go in there and fight a top opponent and make a name for myself again. What excited me about the match up is the potential to get myself back up to where I feel I belong. I feel like I should never have been let go from the UFC. I fight with top guys, and I hang with top guys. I fought the best in the world. My motivation for this is always my family and to support them with a big paycheck, and hopefully get back into the big leagues.”
Andrew Whitney is originally from Kansas City, Missouri and now resides in South Florida where he trains
at American Top Team. The 33 year old Whitney has had big success fighting for Titan FC and like Camas, plans to use a win to help propel him to the top.
