It appears that an exciting jr. middleweight showdown between Mohammed Kayongo (18-4-1, 13 KO’s) of Minneapolis and Saint Paul’s Antonio Johnson (11-1-1, 6 KO’s) may be close to being finalized for January 22nd, 2016 at the Grand Casino in Hinckley, MN. No official word has been given yet, but the potential fight has been in the works over the last few weeks and it sounds like both camps may have accepted terms. Look for more on this to come if this fight becomes official.
Duluth’s Winston Anderson and Thief River Falls’ Nate Rubin also appear to have both sides on board for a showdown. Duluth’s Andy “Kaos” Kolle and Minneapolis’s Van Goodman currently have spots on the show and Duluth’s Ryan Watson will be making his pro debut as well.
